I have tested this script on phpbb2 and phpbb3 and it works like a charm. If you have one, make sure you exclude your private section (for example t.forum_id != 4, where 4 is your private forum’s number). You can include this in your blog’s sidebar, a portal or a website. You can apply different filters by playing with the WHERE condition. Basically this script generates a table which is populated from the phpbb’s database according to the conditions which are imposed.

Lost WPMU Admin password

What do you do when you’ve lost your Admin password and the php_mail() ain’t working? Why, you just manually change your password in the DB. But how do ya do that, Curt? You can’t just pull up phpmyadmin and look because the password is encrypted… it’s a bunch of gibberish. It’ll take your crappy Amiga about 30 years to crack that password. Here’s the easy way, run this query in phpmyadmin:

UPDATE `wp_users` SET `user_pass` = MD5( ‘new_password_here‘ ) WHERE `wp_users`.`user_login` = “admin_username“;

There. now you should be able to log into your back end

JS.Class is an attempt at making JavaScript more Ruby-like. More specifically, it’s a library that makes object oriented development easier in JavaScript (in comparison to JS’s prototype technique, at least) by implementing Ruby’s core object, module, and class systems as well as some of Ruby’s meta-programming techniques.

As well as ports of Enumerable, Observable, Comparable, and Forwardable, you get subclassing, mixins, reflection, late-binding arguments, singleton methods, method binding, and Ruby-like inheritance. Of course, JavaScript gives access to many of these elements already, but JS.Class presents things with a Ruby flavor.

The official JS.Class site is particularly well done and each main area is well documented.

To change the “Sales Message Goes Here” or “Tagline Here” text to say what you want open the includes/languages/english/header.php file in your text editor. Find the following line of code:
define(‘HEADER_SALES_TEXT’, ‘Tagline Here’);
Replace the tagline text with your own text, making sure that the single quote marks are not left out.
Save the edited file to includes/languages/english/custom/header.php and upload it to your server.
NB: By default the text “Sales Message Goes Here” is located in includes/languages/english/classic/header.php
